1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using The Astrological Photographer's/Astrological Photographer's services, scheduling a session, enrolling in a course or membership, or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all services offered by Astrological Photographer, including but not limited to: 1:1 sessions, group programs, courses, memberships, digital products, physical products, and any content made available through our client portal.

2. Services

Astrological Photographer offers Astrology based digital products and content as well as Astrology and Photography focused services including photoshoots and birth chart readings or some combination of the two. Our services are for informational, educational, and personal development purposes only.

Our services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, medical emergency, or legal or financial difficulty, please seek appropriate professional help.

Astrological Photographer makes no guarantees about the outcomes of any service. Results vary and depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, circumstances, and openness to the work.

3. Booking & Scheduling

Session appointments are confirmed upon receipt of payment (or, for complimentary sessions, upon booking confirmation). You will receive a confirmation email with session details and any pre-session materials.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your scheduled session will receive a full refund or credit toward rescheduling.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session will receive a 50% credit.
No-shows (failure to attend without notice) [are not eligible for a refund.

Astrological Photographer reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to illness or emergency. In such cases, you will be offered a rescheduled appointment at no additional cost.

4. Courses & Memberships

Course enrollment: Upon purchase, you will receive access to course materials through the client portal. Access is for personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.

Membership access: Memberships provide ongoing access to content and community as described on the relevant sales page. Membership benefits are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Refunds on courses: "We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee — if you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of enrollment, contact us for a full refund."

Membership cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time through your client portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. This membership has a minimum commitment period of 3 months before cancellation is available.

5. Digital Products & Downloads

Digital products (PDFs, audio files, workbooks, etc.) are delivered electronically and are for personal use only. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final unless the product is materially different from its description.

You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from digital products without explicit written permission.

6. Payment

All prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of booking or purchase. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods made available through our checkout process.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is never stored by Astrological Photographer. Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.

Sales tax: You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or other taxes based on your location. Astrological Photographer may be required to collect and remit sales tax in certain jurisdictions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content created by Astrological Photographer — including session recordings (where applicable), course materials, written content, images, and other intellectual property — is owned by Astrological Photographer and protected by copyright.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use purchased content for your own personal use. You may not:

Share access credentials or content with others
Reproduce or distribute content publicly
Use content for commercial purposes without written permission
Record sessions without prior written consent from Astrological Photographer

8. Confidentiality

Astrological Photographer treats all personal information shared during sessions and communications as confidential. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services (for example, using payment processors or scheduling tools).

If you share information during a session that indicates imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, Astrological Photographer may be obligated to take appropriate action, which may include contacting emergency services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Astrological Photographer does not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved.

Intuitive, astrological, and related services involve interpretation and personal perspective. Statements made during sessions represent the practitioner's impressions and are not predictions, medical diagnoses, or professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astrological Photographer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Testimonials & Reviews

By submitting a testimonial, review, or feedback, you grant Astrological Photographer a non-exclusive license to use your words (and first name, if provided) in marketing materials. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or small claims court in British Columbia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the client portal. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
