Information you provide directly

Contact information — your name, email address, and any other information you provide when booking a session, purchasing a product, enrolling in a course or membership, filling out a form, or contacting us
Payment information — payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your card number, expiry date, or CVV. We receive only a transaction reference and basic billing information (name, billing zip)
Birth data — if you provide your birth date, birth time, and birth location for the purpose of astrological or Human Design consultation, this information is stored in your client profile
Session notes and communications — notes taken during or after sessions, and any messages exchanged between us
Content you submit — testimonials, form responses, course assignments, or other content you submit through our platform
Shipping address — if you purchase a physical product, we collect your shipping address to fulfill your order

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website or use our client portal, basic technical information may be collected automatically, including:

Your IP address and approximate location
Browser type and device information
Pages visited and time spent on pages
Referring URL (how you found us)

This information is used to maintain and improve our services and is not used to identify you personally.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How we store your information

Your information is stored and processed using Interamnia, a business platform for practitioners. Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

Birth data, session notes, and other sensitive information are stored in your client profile and are accessible only to Astrological Photographer and to you through your client portal.

Third-party services we use

Running our business requires using some third-party services. Where these services process your personal data, they do so under their own privacy policies:

We only use services that meet reasonable standards for data security.

Email communications

If you provide your email address, you may receive:

Transactional emails — booking confirmations, purchase receipts, course access, and other communications directly related to services you've requested. These are necessary to provide our services and cannot be opted out of while you are an active client.
Marketing emails — newsletters, promotions, and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing us at hannah@theastrologicalphotographer.com.

We do not send spam. We will never sell or share your email address.

Active client records — retained for the duration of our relationship and for 6 years afterward for tax and legal records
Marketing email lists — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
Session notes — retained indefinitely unless you request deletion
Payment records — retained for 6 years as required by tax law

When you request deletion of your account or data, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at hannah@theastrologicalphotographer.com.
